Mark my words, when people bring up Genesis the Greykid’s name after it’s all said and done, they will be referring to him as a legend because that’s very well what he’s on pace to become. Genesis the Greykid is arguably one of the best new artists that you’ve never heard of… yet! Genesis blesses the listeners w/ clever lyrics, effortless delivery, soulful production and amazing visuals (Thanks in part to dynamic director duo Coodie & Chike).

Recently, while in Atlanta,Ga, Genesis found time to record the intro to his upcoming project “Grey Matters” that he’s collaborating on with Chike from Creative Control.

The video is only a minute long, but in typical Genesis form, he leaves the listener happy yet wanting more. I told Genesis in the past “If you keep giving people crumbs eventually they’re going to want a full course meal” and there’s no doubt in my mind that whenever “Grey Matters” officially releases dinner will officially be served.

#salute  rebelsocialitenyc: Photo: Meet the newest member to The New York Yankees  Rebel $ocialite… Yesterday, I had a 2:30 meeting with the lovely Hannah Bronfman to talk to her about my Rebel $ocialite company. Needless to say the meeting went great! Hannah loved the name and most importantly she loved & understood the vision. Hannah is a beautiful girl with amazing energy and killer ambition, so her partnering up with me on Rebel $ocialite just helps solidify the moves that the company is making & the direction in which the company is headed. With people like; Cordell Lochin & Hannah apart of this Rebel $ocialite collective it’s almost impossible to lose.   Heron Preston said it best and I quote, “I call us the New Pop Culture, which might sound bold, but I believe it. We’re more influenced by what we’re up to - our own creative outputs - than what Karl Lagerfeld is up to. We are more interested in reading our friends blog than Style.com My friends and I don’t care about Lindsey Lohan; When we see a picture of a celebrity like Kanye West, we want to know who’s standing behind him. It’s cooler to be a real person. It’s our turn now.” With that being said: Expect BIG things on the Horizon from Rebel $ocialite ;-)
